Please read in FULL before applying.
The application form may take a little while to fill in completely, therefore we recommend that you create your characters name, history and personality as fully as possible before beginning. Please also keep a copy saved on your computer or in your email account as a precaution.
We reserve the right to decline any application that fails to adhere to the guidelines, and also due to security reasons, any application that is sent from a free email account such Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo. We would prefer that you use a email account from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or from an educational institution or workplace if available.
Please note that we wish to keep as close to canon (the books) as possible. For this reason, we are not currently accepting the following:
Original Vampire characters. If you wish to play one, you need to sign up to be a human character first and then be bitten during the course of your writing. Unfortunately we have far too many non-Canon Vampires currently and they are meant to be a rare species.
Any "new" Cullens/Hales, whether they use the name, or the same species, or neither.
Human "Vampire Slayers". It is impossible in Stephenie's universe for a human to kill a Vampire. Their skin is impenetrable to all but the teeth of their own species and of Shapeshifters.
Original characters who have details (name, history, talents etc.) too close to those of a Canon character. Each talent is unique.
Any new relatives or lovers of canon characters.
Any original characters intended for a Canon Shapeshifter to imprint on.
Any application with less than five (5) complete sentences in the History, Appearance, Personality, and Role Play sample sections.
Any species not specifically mentioned in the books. Vampire-Wolf hybrids are not possible in this universe as Vampire venom is simply poisonous to Wolves.
We're also trying to avoid characters with green eyes at the moment as we have quite a few already and it is one of the rarer eye colors; and also characters with road accidents in their histories as, again we have quite a lot of them already.
If you are undecided which species you would like to be a part of, then why not apply for a Quileute, Sioux or Iroquois, Ticuna or Makah human? Technically with the right bloodlines, you could eventually be a Shapeshifter, and you also have the possibility of being bitten by a Vampire later on.
Our Ticuna and Makah Shapeshifters are unique. They do not become Wolves - They become Jaguars (Details here) and Thunderbirds (Details here) respectively.
Application Checklist for Original Characters
Is your character a vampire? IF YES, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT APPLY AS A VAMPIRE.
Is your character a shapeshifter? IF YES, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT APPLY AS A SHAPESHIFTER.
Is your character a vampire hybrid? IF YES, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. DO NOT APPLY AS A VAMPIRE HYBRID.
Is your history, personality, and description at least 5 complete sentences? IF NO, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Does your human know about vampires and shapeshifter? IF YES, THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Application for Original Characters FAQ
If you want to apply as a shapeshifer, apply as a human of that tribe (and do research on that tribe). If you want to be a Ticuna jaguar, apply as a Ticuna Human. If you want to be a Makah Thunderbird, apply as a Makah Human. If you want to be a Quileute Wolf, apply as a Quileute human. If you want to be a Sioux Wolf, apply as a Sioux Human.
If you want to be an Iroquois Wolf, apply as an Iroquois Human.
If you want to be a vampire, apply as a human first.
The special RP system on Equinox will allow you to become a shifter or a vampire, but only after you apply as a human.
