Information for Parents
Equinox is an independant site built by fans for the use of other fans. It is based around a concept called Roleplaying (The act of creating a piece of by individual members adding their own writing), and on Stephenie Meyer's popular "Twilight" book series.
Although we respect the individuals right to an opinion, this site is intended to encourage the development of literacy and analytical skills in a fun and original way, and not to be a religious or political platform.
Equinox is in no way affiliated with Stephenie Meyer or Summit Entertainment Officially, although we recognise them as creators and copyright holders respectivly of the Twilight world.
We set no age limits since the books can be read by people of any age, however we do aim to cater mainly for the 13-17 age bracket. Anyone younger than 13 is required to have parental consent to join.
The staff take considerable care in the management and moderation of the site and the reporting of problems is encouraged as we must first know of a problem before we are able to act upon it. Our rules are very strictly against such things as innapropriate material and we will always push for the strongest penalties available for such things being posted onto any part of the site.
