Good Morning, Equinox!

Hey, everyone. Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed that activity here has dried up a little. Some of us (not naming names or anything) have neglected Nox in favor of our new baby, Enchanted Hogwarts. Not that *I* would ever do that. *cough* What? You can't read minds. How do you know I'm lying? Anyway. Just a friendly reminder to everyone that Nox is still our friend. I do foresee an explosion of activity once New Moon comes out, though... hmm... perhaps I've leeched (no pun intended) some of Alice's precognitive powers... Add by Mimi: Also, we're working on the bug with the thread alerts, so just because you don't have any alerts, it doesn't mean your thread hasn't had activity. For the time being, you'll still have to check your threads manually until the next announcement!

Pack Merger

Due to the diminishing number of shifters in the Sioux Isanti pack, the two Sioux packs have now been merged as the Sioux Pack. Rex Harper, beta of the former Sioux Lakota Pack, is now beta of the entire Sioux Pack.

Twilighters for Truth

Recently, Novel Novice Twilight posted "A plea to the media" (HERE) asking legitimate, normally responsible news outlets (like MSNBC, CNN, etc.) to start checking their facts before reporting tabloid gossip as actual news. We've seen too many tabloid rumors about members of the Twilight universe show up in normally respectable news outlets without reporters doing any fact-checking of their own. Now, NOX, Novel Novice Twilight & Touched by Twilight have teamed up because we have had enough with the tabloids spreading rumor and gossip about those involved with The Twilight Saga. And we're even more fed-up with mainstream media picking up gossip & rumor, and running it as legitimate news stories without checking the facts. We want accuracy in reporting. We want media outlets that report the truth and check their facts! Responsible journalism! We're inviting all Twilight fans and Twilight sites to join our campaign: twilighters for truth, as we seek a return to responsible journalism. We've created a variety of graphics to help you show your support of twilighters for truth. We invite everyone to download these graphics & post them on their fan sites, personal pages, profiles, etc. ... then link back to the homepage for twilighters for truth so more people can learn about it. Hogwarts is now open

As quite a lot of members have been asked to be informed, we're just making a quick announcement to let you all know that Enchanted Hogwarts, which is a sort of sister site to Nox has now been reopened. It's similar in structure to Nox, but is based of course, on Harry Potter. It's set in an alternate universe, though so if you intend to join, please make sure you read everything carefully before you submit your character. Just as we don't allow any "Potter" or "Weasley", etc crossover names on Nox, we are not going to allow any "Cullen" or "Hale", etc crossover names on EH. Please be original with your characters.
